This database contains a listing of needlepoint designs easily available either as kits or as charts in one of the books reviewed in our book section.

The title of each design is listed with various information including the designer, the subject of the design, the size of the piece, the materials used, whether it is a kit or a chart and where it can be purchased. A photograph of the design is included whenever possible and usually taken from advertising materials. 

The database can be searched by author, subject, and various other categories using pull down menus.  This means that if your looking for a design of a rooster, just enter the word rooster under subject and hit your enter key.  This should result in a listing of all the rooster designs in the database.  Click on the Title of the design for a photograph (where available) and any additional information.

The size of the piece refers to width and height and is in inches for kits and stitches for charts.
