Patriotic Designs

This is a series of designs on patriotic themes. The designs are of various sizes and have been charted in a variety of wools wherever possible.  Click on the small photo for larger view.
American Flag

A simple yet moving design of the American flag.  Chart is 130 by 130 stitches and charted in Anchor and Paternayan. 

Eagle Crest

A small design suitable as a cushion or eyeglass case.  Charted in Anchor and Paternayan. Free download in PCStitch file format.
Lady Liberty

Cushion, worked in 5 colors of your choice. Design is 145 by 150 stitches.
Lincoln

Inspired by the Lincoln Memorial, this Stone portrait is an extremely simple design, stitched with a patterned background.
   

Stitcher's World (www.stitchworld.com) recently featured the chart for Lady Liberty that I sent to their American Red Cross Auction.  I have received numerous requests for the other two designs (the flag and Lincoln). Unfortunately, these are not yet printed and the task of printing them is proving more time consuming and costly than anticipated. 


So, until such time as they are printed,  I'd be glad to send anyone interested, a copy of the black and white chart that I used for my own stitching.
